TIR REGIMEN: In 1982 Spain signed the TIR agreement that regulates the customs passage of goods transported by road between contracting countries. This is to facilitate and shorten these procedures and makes international trade more flexible.
Provided that the transport is without intermediate loads, the TIR applies to the uninterrupted carriage of goods across one or more borders to the final country of destination.
The mechanism is as follows: for a carrier to make a journey from their country of origin to another that is separated by two others the carrier would need to perform custom procedures at each border crossing, showing their goods and the import and export permits, subsequently making it a difficult transportation.

To avoid this complication, the TIR Agreement allows loads to be carried across borders in vehicles that are listed on an official document. The destination customs will check that the goods correspond in quantity and quality with the documentation, and will also complete the normal customs procedures, thus avoiding the need to duplicate this process in any intermediate customs and thus facilitating a less complicated transportation.

FORWARDERS: The freight forwarder is the link in the chain of international trade between the exporter and the carrier. They advise, organize and coordinate all necessary customs operations for the international transport of goods. They are freelancers who work for any carrier, and they ensure the correct and faithful performance of necessary custom duties.

EORI Nº: The EORI code or registration number and identification of economic operators that is issued by the Tax Office on July 1, 2010, and with application from  last  **** is a necessary and compulsory requirement in any customs operation with Morocco.

MA AUTHORIZATION: Merlatrans have the appropriate permits issued by the Ministry of Development that regulate operations with Morocco.
